Hi, I´m from Sweden and I´m new here.
I just want to tell a little about myself: I´m an alcoholic since I was 15 yrs, and I´ve been on  drugs for 15 yrs.
I have asked for treatment for a long time, but they always say I´m not motivate enough. This time I couldn´t accept the answer, so I decided to talk to a reporter and it went really well. Two days after I was in the newspaper, I got a call from my socialworker. It was ok to look for a treatment. In Sep I´m welcome to
treatment for 1 year. This time I know I have to work really hard, cause I can´t live like this any longer. It´s no life at all. I´ve lost my job, my daughter, licence and myself but now it´s time to take it back. I guess it´ll be like hell, but I´ve got no choice. If I can´t get sober this time, I´ve no other alternative than to take my life. I hope I´m wrong.
Take care everybody!

  to NARecovery Cheap Charlie

Hope you can get the treatment you are looking for. It doesn’t matter as much what the rehab is like as long as you are willing to do whatever it takes to recover. I went to rehab myself and it was a great start – only a start – for me in my recovery. After rehab, it was up to me to follow through and do what I needed to do – go to meetings, get and use a sponsor, work the steps, etc

Again – welcome home and good luck  Hugs Hugs

Have faith Charlie, if you can’t find faith within yourself, you can find some recovering addicts in NA meetings who will be willing to lend you some of their faith.

Find same NA meetings in your town and begin attending them. That is how we start a new way of life.

Welcome home Charlie, glad to have you here with us.

(((((Charlie))))))

We love you. Together, with the help and guidance of NA and our own Higher Power, WE can do it!

Stay strong, and like Lon said, have faith in your local NA fellowship, attend the meetings, and follow suggestions.

Remember, JUST FOR TODAY, you never have to use again!
