I have a few questions

Hello!
     I am a student with the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District and one of my courses (Substance Abuse and Public Health) asks that I speak with two people suffering/recovering from an addiction with alcohol or a narcotic. If anyone would be willing to submit their honest responses, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Of course, any emails and/or responses will be held 100% confidential; the only information that will be included in the report would be your age and gender. I completely understand that these are by no means easy questions to answer but it would be honestly helpful if you could give it a try.
How long have you been using the drug?

• How did you get started?
• How old were you when you started using?
• What do you get from the drug?
• What kind of physical reactions do you have from your use and have your physical reactions changed over time?
• How much money does your habit cost you?
• Has their habit cost you anything else i.e. friendships, health?
• Who do you hide their drug use from?
• Do you want to quit using?
• Have you tried to quit?
• What keeps you hooked?
• What other drugs do you currently use?

Why not just google these questions and copy paste what you find, or just make up the answers yourself and then come up with a couple of phony names since you are unwilling to go out there and find real people willing to talk to you.  Addiction can and does kill addicts every single day, and we are here to offer help and hope, not provide research subjects to people trying to blow off a course.
