[21:20] <+TwoTone> when i told my parents about it they didnt believe me
[21:20] <+TwoTone> so i was left to deal with it on my own
[21:21] <+TwoTone> it ate at me for anothr 6 years
[21:22] <+TwoTone> i became an imancipated minor at 16 and moved out on my own….working full time and going to school full time
[21:23] <+TwoTone> this is about the time someone introduced me to drugs and it numbed me out then i was off and running
[21:24] <+TwoTone> i was doing anything i could to numb outthis went on for 35 ytears
[21:24] <+TwoTone> i tried every thing….well nearly everything
[21:25] <+TwoTone> i lost my chance to go to college, then a career in the air force
[21:25] <+TwoTone> 2 wives and 2 kids
[21:26] <+TwoTone> i became real familier with jails

[21:27] <+TwoTone> i made a decision to continue using drugs while on probation
[21:29] <+TwoTone> when i pissed dirty the second time my probation officer put me on IOP (intensive out patient) then i was being tested twice a week no no chance of skirting it any more
[21:29] <+TwoTone> here i was…in iop getting an education on what the drugs had done to my mind
[21:30] <+TwoTone> i was going to the other fellowship at that time but was never comfotable
[21:31] <+TwoTone> my iop counsuler suggested i go to NA …..it took me another three months just using online as my support
[21:32] <+TwoTone> i finally got up the courage to go to an NA meeting and check it out

[21:35] <+TwoTone> i started going to more and more meetings
[21:36] <+TwoTone> and now i go each day to my homegroups noon meeting and i am keyholder and chair for 3 meetings a week
[21:37] <+TwoTone> getting 1 year clean has been a big step for me….this is the longest i have had clean on my own
[21:37] <+TwoTone> it didnt come easy
[21:39] <+TwoTone> i had to get a sponsor, literature started working the steps……using my phone list(which i beleave is our most important tool)
